Steroids Supplements
SW Day two: Some supplements are useful...
Welcome to the next part the in e-course “Safe Steroid Use”. This part begins with “supplements”. Why supplements? Because there are many supplements which should be taken along side anabolic steroids. They are very inexpensive in price; the benefits are priceless.
It should be noted that these supplements aren’t a ‘must’, and not everyone takes them, but if you want to minimize side effects, you should definitely consider them. On to the supplements…
Water:
Water is extremely important to everyone, but especially athletes
looking to improve their bodies. Water has numerous benefits, with
the most important being:
a) hydration - Not only does your body need water to function.
But drinking plenty of water keeps your muscles ‘full’,
and gives you the ‘pumped’ feeling.
b) natural diuretic - Water is a natural diuretic that helps you
from holding excess water.
c) anti-oxidant - Water helps flush the body from harm toxins. This
especially helps when the body is consuming large amounts of protein.
So how much water should you drink? You should drink a minimum of 6 liters a day. Most bodybuilders drink a minimum of 8 liters a day. If you wait until you are thirsty; you waited too long!
Alpha Lipoic Acid:
Alpha lipoid acid, or ALA, also benefits the body in more than one
way. ALA is a powerful anti-oxidant, which aids in protection of
the liver. ALA also increases insulin sensitivity which can be great
for bodybuilders.
Milk Thistle:
Milk thistle is used for liver protection. Milk thistle is commonly
used in Europe and Asia to treat liver diseases. For the purpose
of liver protection, a user can choose between milk thistle or ALA,
both are not needed. A liver protector is strongly recommended when
using oral anabolic steroids.
Saw Palmetto:
Saw Palmetto is currently used to treat prostate problems. It also
improves urine flow, and can be used to treat bladder infections.
Some steroids may have affects on the prostate, which is why Saw
Palmetto would be used.
That’s the end of part 1. Of course there are your more popular supplements like protein, creatine, andro, etc., but we are just covering the ones that should be used with steroid use.
In part 2, we will go over the most popular steroid side effects and how to stop them in their tracks… if they even do occur. Areas we will be covering will be:
Acne
Balding
Gynecomastia aka “bitch tits”
Water retention
We put a lot of time and work on preventing side effects.
Obviously no one wants to deal with them, and many even have to.
If taken properly, chances are the user shouldn’t see any
negative side effects. However, there is always the possibility
of getting side effects, so we want everyone to be prepared on the
subject.
