what does your chest routine consist of?? I feel like im in the same boat, i always see progress, but it hasnt popped out like i want it as of yet. I think that the chest takes the longest to fully develop and mature, arms, shoulders etc mature faster IMO.

id increase your weights up IMO. I worked out for a year straight and my chest never grew. started training with a guy that told me to increase my weights, bc i was lifting way too light. I wasnt confident with myself and didnt think i could do it. i was inclining the 60's at most before i started training with him. After 2 weeks i was lifting the 85lb dumbells on inclines for reps. I could have a long time ago also, just didnt have the confidence.

Id throw something else in there also bro, like some hammer strength chest movements, or some declines also. Just something else to trick the muscle and hit a different part of it.

Looks like Mega covered this 4 u above... Work the dumbbells and get a good spotter. You'll be surprised by how much u can lift.

to shock your chest, every other chest workout do all your fly movements first to pre-exhaust then do your pressing movements after. you wont be as strong on your presses so throw your ego out the window but your chest will be major pumped and next day sore guaranteed.
try 12-15 total sets
reps 6-10
try training chest once every 5 days or so and see how your body responds

Default Well

For looks and not power the recommend Incline First, then flat then decline. When I do this I go Incline Straight Bar, Flat Bench DB's , Decline DB's, GO heavy and go to failure.....

Bro I do no less than 25 sets of chest on chest day. What really makes the chest pop out is flat bench. Once you get your chest popped out then go to dumbbells, cables, stuff like that. You need to use heavier weight to shock it. Negatives work great for this. To get a base on any body part you need the basic push pull movements with heavier weights. If you are not squatting, dead-lifting, and benching then you are not going to get the full potential of your body. Now for us older guys who have been at this for a while this advise is not for you. You know what to do to make your bodies grow. This is for the guy who is kinda new and is trying to get a good base going.

I'd do a heavy flat bench first. do 3-4 sets of 4 go as heavy as you can handle to get 4. Then hit Incline do the same, then flat DB, DB incline, and finish with flys but for flys do sets of 8-12 reps. My chest exploded when I started doing this. One time a week. ( You can throw in Decline too but I dont because it irritates an old old shoulder injury, if you do drop the DB flat.) take 1-2 min rest inbetween sets.

I have been doing this also for about the last 6-7 months. I have noticed a huge difference. also I do a couple of sets of pause's in my routine heavy weight about 275 for 8-10 reps pause for 5 sec my last set is to faliure high reps 135 for 50 or 185 for 30 this way you are hitting both type's of muscle fiber slow and fast twitch

Bump bad on the heavy stuff on bench, squats and deadlifts. Negatives will make you stronger. If you are hitting your body with the heavy weights from these three major lifts, your body will be in kind of a shock where it just tells itself to grow to protect itself. You will get stronger overall as well as overall growth. Most big guys have gone thru this phase. Get your diet in line and plenty of sleep and you will be amazed at the results. Good luck bro.
