    Default New Personal Best!!

I did legs yesterday. I started with squats and then went to the leg press. I started with 6 plates on each side and added 1 each set until I couldn't complete a set of 8 anymore. I ended up with 22 45lb weights (total) plus 2 5lb weights to make it an even 1000lbs. I got 6 solid reps. I was very pleased.

i've done 13 plates each side for 15 reps but it was on a crap Cybex (with a funky angle) leg press machine.

I'm not exactly sure what the brand was. I'm going in a little while, I'll check it out. I'll have it posted by 2pm ET. It looks and feels like your standard leg press.

I don't get muscle soreness hardly at all when I'm on the gear bro. I could do squats until I puke and pass out and still wont get sore muscles. That's actually one of my favorite things about AAS.

Thanks. I have always had good leg strength. Maybe that's what enables me to be a good deadlifter (not that I'm the greatest deadlifter or anything...). My legs measure 26 inches around and I have a 32 inch inseam. I think my legs are a little on the short side for my height. I have a tall torso. 26 inches doesn't seem like such a big number but they fill a pant leg pretty good.

Ive gone to 14 plates a side a couple times, but that was on a day i didnt squat. I always do squats, hack squats, and now just added front squats then leg presses and can go to 10 plates for 10 after all the squatting

Yeah this was after 4 sets of squats which ended @ 405lbs and then 5 sets of leg presses @ 8 reps each (6,7,8,9 & 10 plates). I cant do front squats or hack squats (unless it's the machine hack squats) because it feels way too unnatural. I'm not sure how far I could go if I started with leg press. Maybe next time I'll do that and only do 3-4 reps a set starting at 7 or 8 plates and see how many I could do when I get to 11 plates (each side).

i am jealous. i have used one of those there machines and they are nice. compared to the crap leg press machine i have had to use, i think it makes leg press harder because of angle and motion. can't even find a pic of it...

Damn, so you did 13 plates on a machine that makes it harder and you did 15 reps....I was feeling strong for a minute there too lol.

the reps were not that deep because of my lower back problems. and i had me some knee wraps on. so in reality; i am a pus*y

Well I doubt you're a pussy but yes deep reps are much harder. My lower back gives me shit along with my knees, left wrist and right ankle. I'm coming close to touching my knees to my shoulders on these definitely going a little beyond the plane.

I can't go much past 90 degrees at the knees cause it causes pain. If I was going to comp. depth my squats would suck.
