Just curious...what are your current routines in the gym? Im changing up my routine once again and Im looking for something I havnt done yet. So list what days for each muscle group and typical exercises. I think this will benefit some newbies fresh into the training and give examples to the vets for muscle confusion. Thanx bros!

Routines are routine. I don't do it. I work what feels like would be the best muscles to work that day based on the last time I did them and vary the exercises constantly as well. I can't do the note pad and a pen thing anymore. It turns something I love into a job and plateaus were always reached too fast that way too. Of course there are certain exercises that are done every week such as squats and deadlifts but....

day 2 - back, tri, calves, abs, forearms
    day 3 - off
day 4 - traps, shoulders, hamstrings, abs, forearms

I kinda agree with break right now I am 3 on and 1 off. When I do arms I usally always follow my next day with back or chest since my arms need most work, and at the end of back day I do 3-5 SETS high reps of one bicep excersize if its chest the same but a tri excercise. not compound movement isolated. then I usally go legs the next workout always sqauts no matter what thats bread and butter. By that time I usally healed up top pretty good. Next workout is delts so either my front or rears will benifet from what I did closest to that week chest or back some what of a routine but not really. No matter what everytime I work a body part that week it's never same excerise from the week before On the 22nd of DEC I pulled a groin so its been about 3 weeks since I worked legs. will probably do them end of this week very light, high reps. GOT TO TELL VERY PAINFUL IT FELT LIKE MY NUTS WERE TIED UP AROUN MY EARS

I take rest days when I need them and more than one in a row if necessary. This is my normal but I mix up the order of exercises and the actual exercises too (thanks to the SW guy's suggestions):

    Day 1:CHest/Abs
    Day 2:Back
    Day 3:Legs
    Day 4:SHoulders/Abs
    Day 5:Arms

I am like CD I take rest days a couple whenever I feel tired and stop gaining. I am getting over a couple of injuries, elbows, shoulder so I train one day and off the other. Chest/Tri Rest Legs Rest Back/Bi Rest Shoulder Rest then start again....Works for me and I am not overtraining.
