I puked in the gym today for the 2nd time (that I can remember) in my life. The 1st time was on a leg day and so was today. I was doing 20 rep sets on squats and leg press (3 sets on each). About 5 min after the last set, I had to pray to the porcelain god. I think I ate too much breakfast and drank too much water. The breakfast was at least 2&1/2 hrs before the workout with a protein shake with a banana in it about an hour before. It was a good workout lol. I still came out and finished with calves.

I have puked many times at the gym...almost always from plyometrics. But leg day and any super intesnse cardio gets me
I try to go on an empty stomach for those workouts...it helps

School me....what's plyometrics? Is that like sport oriented drills and what not? I don't mess w/any super intense cardio, especially right now while on high doses of Letro. I just walk. I can't workout on a completely empty stomach or if I feel hungry at all.

I thought it was something like that. I used to train in mma and we used to do drills like that daily....very exhausting.

We did super sets of 20 rep squats, dumbell pullovers and then deadlifts.
Half way into the second set of squats I had to dump the weight quick and run downstairs. I did giant sets with my brother the one time of squats, leg press, lunges and leg extensions=1 set. This was at one of these "health clubs', were you have to have matching head bands and wrist straps and water bottles, otherwise you're looked down on. My brother was trying to bulk and had 1l of yoghurt beforehand. Half way through the second set he starts looking a bit pale, so I tell to get downstairs. He says he's not going to make it, promptly grabs the plastic bin by the drinking fountain and starts hurling into it. Then he says fuck this he's going and leaves half a bin of strawberry puke by the driniking fountain. That must have been a nice surprise. |

Ive only hurled 4 times 3 of them on leg day and the other was on deadlift day.I never eat before training anymore just 10grams of BCAAs + preworkout supps in water( such as white flood , jack3d or noxplode ) im generally done training by 6 am and have a 50- 60 grams (whey) drink as soon as im done and a meal within 60 mins

Oh my god that is so me. I make god awful noise when lifting. I don't give a shit have my hat pulled way down and my player all the way up so I can't hear or see a thing. Peeps used to laugh till I got big now they all gather round asking questions. Bitches....

i have puked but thats ause i went to the gym hung over and i was sitting in the sauna after i worked out and drinking a shake needless to say the shake was not the best thing to drink

Last week...or the week before. Cant remember. Almost last night since it ws leg day again but i managed to get by with just a ghostly pale face for a bit...i was disappointed lol

It's been a long while. When I played football it was a regular thing to puke during off season workouts. The coaches would all cheer and give you a pat on the back if you hurled.
I came really close the other day doing squats. I had been doing leg press and front squats for so long, I forgot how brutal some heavy back squats could be. That's definitely the closest I've been to losing it in a while. I'm gonna push harder next time with more reps and extra sets so we'll see what happens. Also, I never go to the gym on an empty stomach, I can't do it, by blood sugar drops too low and I get really light headed and feel weak, so it's amazing that I don't hurl after some hard super sets. |

I have on a few occasions but the worst was when I was superseting legs and chest, and was doing some plyo... it was bad because i didn't make it to a trash pail or bathroom.
