Depends on the gym. If the people are cool with spotting I usually can go at it solo BUT my current gym has a lot of people who don't know gym etiquette so it really sucks pushing it. A good partner can bring you out of a mental rut though.

Totally agree here. My gym is full of meat heads who don't re-stack their weights, never spot anyone and wear ridiculous clothing. These posers are sweating on everything and not impressing anyone with the hand cut wife beaters that droop all the way down to the hips on the sides and almost below the nips on the front. I kid you not, there are at least 10 guys now wearing this shit. It's a fucking trend.

Anyway, it's a tough environment to keep your cool and finding a spotter is less than simple. I'll stay with the solo gig for now.

im a culprit of cutting my shirts, but NEVER cut them to where the sides droop down to my waist on my sides!!! There are a few skinny guys that come in the gym wearing that shit. I make sure to cut them to where my nips dont hang out. Actually my girl cuts them all for me, ive ruined the last two i tried to cut! I do like them coming to the center of my back some, but always leave enough in the sides and front.

Bump this....One of the most ripped guys at my gym wears a sweatshirt 24/7. I knew he was strong but thought he was kinda of small....then one day he pulls off the sweatshirt and BOOMMMMMMMM! Mother fucker is jacked as fuck...I swear I about shit myself. Needless to say I no longer jump to conclusions when I see someone who "looks small" in a sweatshirt or covered up (at least at the gym)

FUnny, same deal @ my gym. Normal sized guy until he takes off the hoodie. Transforms into the incredible hulk.

When i first started watching it, i was like damn this dude aint shit, for one because he wasnt shoulder pressing much, and for two he had that sweatshirt on. When he took that sweatshirt off i was like damn, no wonder why he is on youtube for having great shoulders!!!
