Default need some help

im doing my firts bodybuilding show in april i have some weak points in my posing on my front double bicep i can get my lats out pretty good when i do my front lats i cant get them to come to outthat far. and i need to put some more mass on my chest to i need some help!!!!!

well i need to find some way to get my lats to come out my on my front and rear lat spread/? and i need to pack some mass on my chest fast!!

chest day just did this tryed some new things tell me if im going in the rite direction.

1st. incline press dumbbell-70x12
90x10
100x10
2nd.flatbench dumbbell-70x10
105x10
110x8
3rd decline barbell-185x15
225x10
275x4
155x25
just started doing these declines my upper chest is way bigger then my lower never really did declines before today.

4th. flat bench dumbbell flys-40x15
50x12
60x10
65x10
5th was cable flys 4 sets of 15 last set did till failure

6th pecdeck 3 setd or 12 at 80 pounds.

let me know if im doing anything wrong pleasse or if any ideas like i said i threw in the declines to build some mass on my lower chest

every other week start you chest workout with either flat or incline. never start it out the same every week. doing it this way made me equally strong on incline, flat, and decline. I could bench 330 on all three angles. I also thing your doing to many reps, stay in the 4 to 10 rep range. my .02

thanks for that me and mike 0286 workout together we both thought maybe we where over training but when you posted that it made me feel better i started doing 10,8,6,4 reps on all body parts this weeks so thanks again for the advice i let you know if i get some gains of it

I think you are doing too many exercises. I think four is more than enough, I usually do three. In my opinion, your first exercise is where you should be really pushing it, you're fresh, ready to go and should be lifting your heaviest... but it looks like you are taking it easy. Ie 12 reps, then 10, then heavier weight and 10 again.
I agree with similar to what you say above and what WW said.
I love going heavy, and I think for as long as I can remember my last set is about 4-5 reps.
Here's an example of what I would do on incline dumbells.
60lbs 16-20 reps. Really light, get loose, since I have so many injuries lately. lol
80lbs 15ish reps. Again trying to get loose.
100lbs 10-12reps. Not super heavy, still kind of warming up, but getting heavy. Can probably do more reps here, but don't wait to quite go to failure and save myself for heaviest.
120lbs 8ish reps. Push myself pretty good here, to failure, but no extra forced reps or anything.
135-140lbs 4-5 reps. Last set, really push it. Try and get atleast 4. If it's heavier than normal, make sure the spotter helps me get those couple extra in.

Then rest exercises will be one slight warmup set, similar to the 100lb set above. Then two heavier sets. Sometimes will add a 4th exercise.

I've done decline about 3 times in the last 5 years.

I really think all you need is 3-6 heavy sets for growth.
I worked out with a buddy months ago, and he does 6 exercises. So I ended up doing 5, and said I'm done and not doing the sixth. I felt exhausted and that 3 exercises was enough.

thanks admin i kinda thought the same at first maybe ill jjust stick to flaT and incline the hit flat and incline flys and call it good. but im def going to up the weight this week. this website is the shit so many smart people that can all help eachother. thanks again

I'll usually just alternate between:
Incline dumbell or bar
Then flat, opposite of the above.
Then incline flies with dumbbells or cables
And if I do a fourth, a machine fly probably two sets only.

i did what you said and started going heavy and cut out some exercises heres what im doing now and

flat warm up with 50s 15 times
1) 100x10
2) 110x8
3) 120x6
4) 13x 3 or 4 didnt even know i could do this much
incline warm up with 50s againabout 15
1) 80x10
2) 100x8
3) 105x6
4)110x4

and then ive been doing that hammer strength wide grip and 3 sets of flys and im not doing the decline as much either but i think i was over training my chest but i think i might be on the rite track now i hope anyway. i have cut down on everything to about 4 exercises per muscle and going heavy try and put some mass on every where
