Hey was just wondering wether when taking steroids if its best to train on alternate days or every day.
Can you work your muscles twice a week or do they still need the same amount of rest. |

Common sense and instinctive training take priority here. Listen to your body and rest when and where needed. Your recovery time is shortened while on cycle, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't rest your muscles. It's still very possible to overtrain and many people on cycle make the mistake of doing so.

Depends alot on how hard you are training? If you are taking everything to failer it will take more time to heal. If you are hitting it hard but light you can hit them more often.
Action said it best! Listen to your body. It will tell you if your ready or not. |

depends on the intesity and volume. in general if you are doing low rep range (8 or lower) and going to failure on more than half of the sets, you would need more time to recover. once every week or every 5 days is the norm.
if you are training with medium to high reps (10 and above), you could train the same muscle at least twice a week. this is based of course on a normal training volume (about an hour worth of lifting) |
