Default On and off cycle training

Hey was just wanting to find out the intensity of training that should be done in an off cycle in order to maintain as much muscle as you can from your on cycle. I've heard some people say to taper the training down and others say to keep going at the same rate as your on cycle.

While being on the subject of maintaining as much muscle mass possible in the off cycle, what are the best steps to take in order to do this?

As for training in the on cycle, if you're looking to gain as much mass as possible it would be Heavy/low rep wouldn't it? Do your rests need to be the same when taking juice.

One last question. I keep hearing on this site that 'for first time users' you can gain up to a particular amount of muscle/weight. Why don't you gain the same amount of weight on all your cycles? Do your gains get lower and lower each cycle you take.

    Thanks

    P.S are PCT products illegal?

    ...yes I'm a new member

Would you need to maintain the 4000-7000 calorie nutrition plan in the off cycle. (I don't mean completely disregarding the nutrition plan by eating anything, I mean just reducing what you're already taking.) Also, would you need to maintain the same amount of protein.

Just unsure of the transition from on cycly to off cycle and what the requirements are of the off cycly in order to successfully maintain as much muscle as possible.

Your training should be the same as on cycle meaning you still follow the same program and change the routines accordingly to counter your body's adapting process.

Macronutrient values are important in PCT. I always strive for a higher carb/protein versus fat ratio and keep my intake of high quality carbs such as oatmeal, brown rice and sweet potatoes high in addition to high protein, to keep my body in as anabolic a state possible. Let's face it, there's not a hell of a lot of gaining you're going to be doing in PCT as most of your gains will have just been satisfied on cycle and your body is in nowhere near as anabolic a state as on cycle.

so when should 1 take a break off of working out? obviously not during cycle. I rarely ever take breaks off but its always good to take 2-4 weeks off of training.

My advice is just listen to your body. If you really need the break off during your cycle then do it, otherwise save it for off cycle.

Yeah whilst we're on the subject I've been meaning to ask what you'd do in the situation of getting sick in an on cycle. Would you wait it out until you got better to continue training or would you just power through it.

I can't imagine training if I had come down with a really bad flu or something. You'd feel like shit. You'd continue taking your cycle... wouldn't you. If you stopped your body would be all out of wack.

How do you keep as much of your gains as possible whilst being sick. The only thing you could do is keep eating right?

What are the particular percentages of protein as opposed to carbs and fat. How much of what should be taken in an on cycle and how much do these reduce once in PCT?
