Bump. if you're not putting 100% dedication, blood sweat and tears into training you're never going to reach your full potential. make I a point to work harder than the guy next to you.

Bodybuilding is one sport where failure, on a regular basis, is a good thing. Work each set to failure.

    Bump ALL the above
The only exercise where it is not advised to go to failure is the DEADLIFT..............to try and force a failure rep here is most likely gonna end in injury......

"Failure" is kind of a ambiguous term for training. A person can do a set for only two reps but can't get the third is that failure? If you were to immediately drop the weight to something considerably less you would probably be able to do many more reps. Another set might be straight sets of eight but only the third set does the eighth rep become too difficult to complete. Exhausting the muscle in the range of six to eight reps for three sets per exercise is the most optimum for me. Usually the third set is where I reach the point of not being able to complete the final rep.

I like to drop set. I warm up then usually do 3 Drop Sets of 3 drops each drop to failure...

Muscular failure means doing reps in a set, until you can no longer lift the weight with proper form through the full range of motion. Muscle failure is when your body is physically incapable of lifting a limb to a fully contracted position.

I've been on both sides of the fence, I currently do not go to failure. I think that's the single easiest way to overtrain your central nervous system. At first I was scared to not go to failure......until I started making awesome gains that way.

Both methods have worked for me, I think it's important to keep mixing up your routine.

I like training in a certain sense to failure. So I will do a heavy set with low reps, than drop/superset to a lower weight with higher reps and utilize only very partial, very quick range of motion to get as much blood into the muscles being worked as possible in as short an amount of time as possible; a form of blood volume training.

Muscle failure is a body-building term used to describe the inability to complete one additional movement or repetition.

There is nothing like working out so intensely that when ur done u drop to the ground unable to walk or even lift an arm. Then seeing how much more u did two weeks later to get to that point! What's even better is on cycle I'm not even sore the next day!!!

I totally agree! It's all about negative reps, forced reps, and drop sets. I drop set the last set of every exercise. When you start out doing curls at 60 in each hand, and by the 4th set can't do a drop set with 20's or 15's more than 6 reps....you definitely feel the pump.

Hope your taking a NO3 product as well. Superpump 250 & NO3 Chrome are my personal favs.
