I like Branch, he trains with an intensity that's pretty much unrivaled. I imagine that's what Dorian Yates was like in his prime, just with stricter form.

I definitely think Branch could be a little smarter about his training like Jay Cutler for example, but it works for him and he's strong as fuck so there's not much anyone can say.

Well I've seen blood and guts too, and Branch and Dorian train with very different styles, there's no disputing that. Dorian was all about the super high intensity, perfect form and low volume. Branch trains with very high intesity, which is the comparison that I was making and I'm sure Jimbo was agreeing with that part.

Regardless of how good or bad you think Branch's training style is, he is definitely a hardcore dude. He does not pussyfoot around in the gym, he goes all out all the time. His form could definitely be a lot better, but what he does is definitely working for him. I don't think anyone here is currently in the running to win the upcoming Arnold Classic or has cracked the top 3 (twice) at the Olympia, so it's kinda hard to talk shit about a guy that's in that position.

No doubt, that dude is already a freak. I think Cutler trains a lot smarter, especially if you've watched his vids.
