At my gym they have a barbell that is hollow and about , i don't know, maybe 3.5 inch in diameter. Im sure these work the same. You can get a real serious fore arm pump using these for reverse grip curls.

How are the fat gripz doing for you? I was thinking of getting a pair. My wrists seem to get thrashed lately on the incline and figured maybe a fatter bar would help. Plus, dips seem like these would really help out in. The dipping bars at the gym are so thin.

I have some, they are pretty fucking cool. They are way better for some lifts than others... but I give them a thumbs up.

Just got my fatgripz. Looking forward to using them. I can tell dips will be a lot better. The pull downs using them will be a challenge. Anything you pull with them will require more forearms.

Used first time on back day, killer on DB bent over rows. Did a set after taking them off , and what difference, felt lighter

But if you are curling or pressing and using the grip more will give you more forearm mass...then go for it So far I really like the fatgripz. Pulldowns using the fatgripz are more difficult. I start out with them but end without them.
