Im sure you guys understand this is for the obese only as in 50 pounds over weight and above. In fact if you read his research paper (Dr Simeons) he clearly states he doesnt recommend this to anyone trying to lose vanity weight as in 15 - 20 pounds. This research from Dr Siemons is quite old as in 3-4 decades . HCG cannot be prescribed in the USA for weight loss, but it has been used in Europe and South America for over 30 yrs with great success. You know why ist not allowed in the US? Because it works and would put the diet pill industry out of bussiness. Drs here want to treat you forever not CURE you

Since Dr Siemeons passed away many yrs ago a DR in Brazil by the name of Dr Buscio has become the key player in successful treatement of the extremely obese thru this HCG protocol.

the government thinks I'm obese, cause at my height I should max out at 160 lbs, I'm 212 lbs now and trying to gain at least another 23 lbs

Yup, the Bullshit Mass Index. Anyway, that diet would not be conducive to any of our goals, 500 calories a day is not for us.

Default The HCG diet

It may have taken him 5 years to lose the weight but I would bet money it took him longer to put that weight on.

Here's the link to it :

http://www.hcgdietinfo.com/Dr-ATW-Si...and-Inches.htm

Kevin Trudeau made this diet somewhat popular with his book "The Weight Loss Cure" He claimed it to be a once and for all diet, where the effect of the HCG resets the hypothalamus and the excess weight never comes back. He did lose 40 lbs on the diet and claims he never regained the weight. Although I haven't seen the dude in a while. I personally did the diet and lost 20 lbs. I kept it off for some time but eventually slowly I gained it back. I was not obese though and so I really didn't have too much "abnormal fat" as they call it. The claim is made that there is no hunger while on the diet of 500 cal/day because of all the fat stores becoming available for fuel. Apparently HCG reverses the ratio of esterfied to nonesterfied fat 25/75 in the body. This effect optimizes chances of women to bring their pregnancy to term. The dose used in the diet is 125 - 200 iu HCG with the claim that any higher will have the opposite effect. The diet is never continued for more than 6 weeks because at that time you become immune to that dose of HCG. You must continue the 500 cal/day diet for 72 hours after your last shot as that will be enough time for your body to clear the HCG and fat ratios to return to normal. Apparently if you start to eat before that time you will gain weight "at an alarming rate".
I forgot to mention that for ther first two days of shots you are supposed to "gorge" yourself with absolutely as much as you can eat. "Force feed", until the third day when the HCG has mobilized abnormal fat deposits which they claim are locked down and never used until HCG. Without HCG these abnormal stores, which are those stubborn ones like hip/lower back fat, will only be used after the more readily available normal stores are exhausted. Paradoxically, normal fat stores are protected during this diet. Making this one definitely the one for the obese. I personally watched my small areas of lower back fat/ love handles disappear. It took about 3 weeks and they were gone but then I started to feel hungry and lose weight in other areas including muscle unfortunately. I stopped it at 4 weeks. You can scroll about half way down the manuscript and see what you're allowed to eat. It's not much from the third day onward.

My wife has done that diet 3 times and lost nearly one hundred pounds, looks great. She has done a lot of research and say trudea ( spelling) is a rip off. simeon was the pioneer of this diet. She recomends the book called "HCG wieght loss cure guide" by Linda prinster.
