The Pro's and Con's behind legalized steroids

I want more than anything for the majority to come to its senses and legalize steroids. there are many positives and negatives , i want to hear the bros opinions and give me both sides. thanks , zidane

I just would like the general public to be aware of the benefits of steroids for older guys, and also for people to understand that people using them are not druggies charing syringes and getting the rash if they do not have them.....Even when sometimes I had feel it my self....But "normal" fellas like ourselves trying to feel better.

Government had been given so bad reputation to steroids that I doubt they ever going to be "legal"

Pro: We don't have to risk our lifestyle and worry about the legalities of using a prohibited substance.

Con: They would be abused more, many people who believe they are magic beans will pop them like candy.

Ummm, steroids are not illegal they are a controlled substance in the US. Simply requires a prescription like other controlled meds. (anabolic steroids are a Schedule III drug of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) as of February 27, 1991). So the government won't "legalize" them as they are legal you simply need a prescription. To make them "over the counter"----that lies with physician and advocate groups putting pressure on the FDA and the DEA. Since the topic is such a hot spot with politicians (because most of them don't have an athletic bone in their body), I don't think that will ever happen.

but i meant along the lines of legalizing importation of anabolics. But ya my original idea is to write on both sides of the argument and try to find a mid point that seems reasonable, but i will note this in the blog

I think the biggest barrier behind legalizing steroids is it's negative stigma. The majority of people think that AAS are deadly and lead to bad health, organ failure, etc. Like HIV, more people need to be educated on AAS and how effective they are, not just in the world of sports, but also in the world of medicine, as well as for future research.

( I mean obviously, other than strength and

feeling younger is always a possibility,
some steroids help with bone density and tendon strength, so u dont break your hip lol...
there are many. in the long run if done right
