DEA Crackdown

Joined: 13 Jan 2011 Posts: 105 Today I got a bit of a scare when I got a phone call from 813-331-4979 I did not answer but listened to the message. The caller claimed he was special agent Eric Williams with the Drug Enforcement Agency and that I needed to contact him immediately about a very urgent issue. I must admit when I first heard the message my heart skipped a beat and I though WTF! So after I thought about it for a minute I decided to google the name and dea and got this 562-472-0253 / 5624720253 So long story short, one of my online providers has shared/leaked/sold or had information stolen from them because the caller had my number and name. If he calls again I am going to tell him that I will cooperate but first I need his credit card information and social security number so I can verify his identity... Then I am going to reach across the phone line and choke the fuck outta him.... PRICK!! LMAO

Just yesterday, the call came from the number I posted and I knew it was fishy because when he gave the phone number he stumbled a bit, started saying, "call me immediately at 5..er 813..." I work with a company who was victim of a similar scam, saying agents are on the way to arrest them in 10 minutes unless they pay... this is f-ed up and definately scared me for a minute... I read one story of a guy who was so scared he went to WU with $4000 bucks to wire and the WU teller told him it was a scam and not to send the money.

I think what I said was "Dont be a fuckin idiot", meaning dont repost other peoples posts and that this act would be idiotic. Nuff said.. this post was to warn others of a scam that could happen to any of us. Its bogus in nature and the person doing this needs to go away. Im not flaming you AC and I know nothing about you other than you reposted my post without saying it was a repost from another board. I may reconsider posting an entire thread from another board as well. You explained yourself and I respect that part, but dont take this farther than it needs to go bro..
