    Default KFC Double Down?!

Have you all seen this new thing at KFC? It's called the double down.

Two chicken breasts w/bacon & cheese between, no bun.

    Nutritional facts:

    Grilled Double Down

    253 Serving size grams
    460 Calories
    210 Calories from fat
    23 Total fat grams
    9 Saturated fat grams
    0 Trans fat
    185 Cholesterol mgs
    1430 Sodium mgs
    3 Carbs grams
    0 Dietary fiber
    1 Sugars grams
    61 Protein grams

Decent protein, low carbs but high salt.

I'm curious to try this thing, has anyone had one yet?

i go with the triple whopper from BK. With a large drink its like 2000 calories but i think close to 100g protein LMAO.

Have a KFC within a few miles of my house, just never visit. I still have not tried their grilled chicken they came out with a while back.

I ate at BK this morning. I had 3 of their $1 English Muffin sandwhiches. Got 1 of each of the 3 varieties. Delicious. I had to rush out of the house in a hurry and the place where I had to be was right next to a BK and I was hungry as hell. I'm thankful it worked out that way actually because those things were awesome. Fuck dieting lol.

Yah, the nutritional "facts" I posted are for the grilled version. Guess I'd better get over there and try it out. It's still fast food, but not entirely junk food.

Kinda fits into the caveman diet/mentality so it can't be horrible. I like your style KFC. Maybe two thin steaks w/quacamole and tomatoes between next time.

hahaha dieting is overrated. Man i say that but when i actually change my diet for just a short period of time and start to lean up i love the lean look, but always end up saying hell with it and eat whatever again. Guess thats why ill never be really lean.

My goal is to diet down and get as lean as possible and be sure to take many pictures, so later on in life i can always look back and say, "yea that was me once, lean and mean" !!!!!

YES!! I do the same shit. The longest I ever made it eating super clean with very little to no carbs was 6 weeks. I've tried to duplicate that a dozen times since then and can never get past 2 weeks. I love food. I'm a big fan of pizza and live where the best pizza in the world is so.......

Sorry for your loss brother. Sorry for the shitty pizza too. Your job is better than mine, I'm sure. Having a job period these days is a good thing. Being a dumb ass farm kid isn't though. Try to work on that lol J/K.

    I found this lol:

The Chicago/New York pizza war is like a John Lennon/Paul McCartney debate − it depends on your taste, you’ll never resolve it, and the bickering will never end. According to Lonely Planet’s Chicago food author Nate Cavalieri, the best place to get Chicago’s heavy dose of deep-pan pizza is at the local institution Giordano’s in the Near North, north of the Loop. The founders swear the recipe comes from their mom’s recipe back in Italy (that’s sweet), and the special stuffed pizza with sausage, mushroom, green pepper and onions is an instant last-meal-of-the-day dessert-destroyer.

Amateur Giordano's is good, but I really prefer Lou Malnati's for the 3 or 4 guys who're familiar here. NY pizza is amazing too, just had to poke fun. It's all in the crust either way IMO.

I've never been to Chicago but as a pizza lover it has now become a destination. I'll be looking for a fat guy in a little coat parked in a van down by the river too.

I finally ate the grilled double down yesterday. It was good enough to seek it out when on the road if you don't have access to other food. I have to say that it was WAY TOO SALTY, but 61 grams of protein and 4 grams of carbs is GTG in my book.

BTW, KFC announced it's now a permanent menu item b/c sales are so strong.
