Exclamation Starving on palumbo!!! what can i have?!

day 3 of palumbo, find myself starving all day, i weigh 230 lbs and am doing my own modified keto diet, my meals have been

meal 1: 9 egg whites w/ olive oil, suplemented with fish oil and flaxseed oil pills.

meal 2: 50 g eas whey protein shake (6g of carbs)

meal 3: 1 chicken breast w/ hott sauce.

meal 4 (only when hungry): one large can of tuna salad with grated cheese.

meal 5: 8 0z salmon filet fried in olive oil w. salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

meal 6: SAME AS MEAL 2

meal 7 (when still hungry): 8 egg whites with olive oil.

i find myself craving carbs, how many carbs can i take in on work out nd non work out days?

Less than 30 net carbs maybe even less for some people. It's not the same for everyone. Some people can have up to 60 where as others cannot have more than 20. I would have as few as possible. Stick it out another few days. It takes 5 or 6 days for your body to adapt to the new energy sources and once that happens your metabolism will slow down and you won't be as hungry. Carbs raise your metabolic rate so until you are fully withdrawn your body will still be hungry until it stabilizes.

had night sweats all last night, isnt that a sign of ketosis? i have ketotape at home to piss on but i was gonna wait a few more days.

Damn man, you need to modify that diet.
When you have just protein meals and no fats, like meals two and three, you're going to be starving. That's 200 calorie meals.

Well you modified it away from the orginal. Go back to his diet plan and just substitute the things you need to, instead of the whole diet.
Add fat to each of those meals like he has done, but replace with fats you can take.

i take alot of fish oil flax seed, what type of fats are u talking about? cheese?

Types of fats: peanut butter, nuts (cashews, macadamia, almonds), whole mayonnaise, olive oil, mach oil, fatty meats like beef, omega 3 eggs with the yoke, and there are probably many other.

Watch your carbs because they will make you hungry. Hot sauce for example most likely has some sugar in it. Cheese has simple sugar called lactose. Your protein drink needs to be carb free whey isolate. When you eat only the egg whites you cut out the fats; you need those fats.

I'm on the keto diet and I am never hungry.

Hey bro I'm cutting rite now for a show I'm eating 4000 calories a day 8 meals every meal I eat peanut butter and almonds all my carbs are veggies pm me ill email you my diet I got from a nutritionist let me know brother

Bump most everybody. add some fats to the mix most noticable whole eggs not just the whites. In between meals snacking I always carry some beef jerky or summer susage bits. or pepironi. kinda fatty and a little bit of processed sugar in them, mostly protien, but it gets me through those in between times when I get hunrgy and tempted. No diet is any good if ya can't stay on it cause it makes you miserable.
