    Default Eating before Bed

Hey guys what are your thoughts on eating before bed? Ive heard casein protein is the way to go. I currently have none but do have a ton of different whey proteins, from zero carb iso pure to muscle milk collegiate with 695 cals per serving. Im on a bulker right now and trying to jam cals and protein all day. A guy told me at gnc that drinking a whey protein shake would be like pissing in the wind. What do you guys think about that?? Or would it be better for me to eat like a chicken breast, or fish and some peanut butter before bed? I also drink my bcaa's before bed thats why im trying not to absolutely load up my stomach and end up waking up throughout the night to go to the bathroom...

you could easily add a chicken breast or some beef 4-6 ozs. Peanut butter kicks ass too i use plenty of it myself.I use the organic brands they seem to have less sugar

Big glass of milk with 40 grams of whey protein mixed. Add some flax oil and cod liver oil to slow digestion. Works for me.

This will work too milk +whey +fats to slow the process down. As you can see everyone has a preference/method and all the above are good

I have my protein blend which is whey, casein, milk isolate, and a tbsp of udos 3-6-9.
I usually eat about 30mins before bed, and found I really dont' want to eat food at that time, so I take a shake.

Bodybuilders should always take in protein before bed a combo of whey and casein

Anywhere. It does tend to be pricey.

    Take a look at www.discountanabolics.com

    or

    www.trueprotein.com

you can get better quality protein from those 2 places.

The newer trend seems to be going towards a blend of Whey and Casein throughout the day (except post workout). I always push this protein brand but I find it one of the best and highest quality; Dyamtize's 12 hour Elite protein. Blend of both high quality Whey (Isolate and Peptides) and Casein (Micellar and Calcium), Milk and Egg protein and EFA's.

    It's my favourite blend.

Thanks bro. I'll pick up one of those blends (maybe banana nut flavor? ), and another 100% pure casein protein to mix with the whey protein I currently have.

So if I combined Casein, Milk, EFA's and cottage cheese... it'd be the super stack... What's with the cottage cheese supy?? Why's it so good. Is it slow releasing.

(So fats slow down absorbtion of nutrients???)
