In case anyone didn't know about this wonderful site, it let's you put in your daily meals, calculates proteins, carbs and fats and their percentages...It really does help to have a digital food scale...

    Here's the site:

    www.fitday.com

Here's the scale I use, but almost any will do, provided it shows weight in oz., grams, kgs., and lbs.:

    Good post.
I suggest buying a scale as well, you'd be surprised at some of the values you are actually taking in.

That's the only thing really that was missing in my schedule...I was "guessing" on portions and that simply is not good enough and cannot cut it if you're serious about getting results...Many people think they can guess on portions and after a while wonder why they're not progressing after plateauing...

Buy a scale and take the time to weigh your foods and watch the difference it makes in your physique...

Very true...I was far off on some values and fairly close on others...

With my diet, I eat cheese, and man was I off at times.
I wanted to eat 100g of cheese one meal, which is 24g protein, 33g of fat.
I bet you it was about 180g, lol.

** I did eat it, not knowing what it weighed, lol. Then I started measuring again after that.

    It's amazing...What a difference weighing food makes...

I just had an awesome 3.5 oz chicken breast meal with mushrooms, sweet potato fries and asparagus...It came to 362 cals and 35 grams protein and only 11 grams fat...

If I were to have guessed on the portion, it would have been smaller than what I actually ate after weighing it out...
