    Default Steaks?

    6 Sirloin steaks
    1/4 cup Brown sugar
    1 1/2 tablespoons Grainy mustard
    1 tablespoon White vinegar
    1 Onion -- finely chopped
    1 Bay leaf
    1 cup Beer

Combine all ingredients in a pan. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes, cool.

Pour mixture over steaks. Let stand 1 to 2 hours, turning steaks occasionally.

Barbecue until golden brown on both sides.

    Default just a simple maranade

yeah its ok, let it cool completely before adding it, let me say this though, I run the kitchen at a very top notch private country club, and if you buy good meat, you don't need to maranate it. Our filet mignon, would get ruined by a maranade. Make a nice sauce instead, or a vinaigrette. No more food its football time sorry

I was going to say if they are good sirloins you probably don't want to add to much to it.
