    Default SSSSSSSSSSSlowwwww Roast Beef

    For our cooks on here

    6lbs of Angus beef chunks
    20 bulb mushrooms
    baby carrots 1/2 lb
    potatoes 1-1.5 lbs
onions the sweet vals if you like
put all in roasting bag with the seasoning including water 1-2 cups

    very small hole in bag.

here the good part ,set oven for 350 and leave in there slowly decreasing the temp to 250 in 4-5 hours .

You can mainly tell when its done when potatoes is soft to the fork
the beef will have a soft texture and fall apart with a fork.

The tempature at slow cook makes a wonderful flavor ,and the sauce is great on mashed potatoes,or what ever u like.

Mccormicks cooking bags or wal mart is what i use.
very freezable.leave the contents cool down to room temp the open it up
it , really has alot of flavor and no stringy over cooked meat.
use a big aluminum pan in oven under the bag ,its going to be heavy.
once cooled you can scoop the grease that formed if there is any,the meat i used was very lean.

Sounds Yummy Bro! but for those of us on limited or "0" stachy carbs Such as I usually am) loose the taters and add green beans and /or califlower. Also very tasty!

Bump, I'd switch out the taters 2, or replace them w/sweet potatoes.
