Default Sad, I know

So about 5 months ago or so I decided I'd get back in shape after 3 years off. I've dropped 10% body fat and put on almost 20lbs of muscle. My first day I tried to gauge my strength and honestly just got depressed. As an example: I warmed up with 135 on bench and hit 185 about 7 times before I almost shit my pants (My ass was WAY off the bench when I did it lol). I worked out for 3 months (lifting and cardio) and dieted hard, and then hit my first cycle in a long damn time. Last Monday on my 4th set of bench I hit 265X8. Nothing ground breaking, but it's improvement, and just like Supy says in the "off topic", I can crawl forward and be happy. I can only see my upper abs, but working out with sets of 185X10 on military press makes me happy, even if the giants in the gym do it with 315...

Just wanted to tell everyone in our forums a big "THANKS!!". I love the attitude of this forum and appreciate all the knowledge.

Thanks, Wet, Cookie, Admin, Radar, Supy, Freak, and lets not forget Action...sorry for any I forgot

Life is tough. It's even tougher if you're stupid
Stupidity should be painful

Crawling is acceptable. Falling is acceptable. Puking is acceptable. Tears are acceptable. Pain is acceptable. Injury is acceptable. Quitting is unacceptable

To dominate one must be physically, mentally, and spiritually stronger than their opponent. Then, domination is guaranteed.

Nobody said it was easy. No one ever said it would be this fukin hard either!

If im a danger to myself just think what the fuck I can do to you!

Wow brother awesome, 265 for a set of 8 is something to be very much proud of brother. If you warmed up correctly I would think you could put up 315 to 325 with no issue brother. Take it easy though bro we don't need you trashing your shoulder like me. AWESOME,AWESOME, AWESOME.....

Nothin to be ashamed of bro. I've never been particularly strong, esp on the bench, but needless to say I'd kill to push 265x8. I'm workin on it, I'm just taking it really easy so I don't aggravate my shoulder injury again.

Keep on doin it dude, soon enough, you'll be a monster if you keep it up.
