Gym Etiquette - Your Opinion?
So the other day I'm in the gym working out doing some bicep curls when a guy walks by. He is someone I've seen in the gym many times before.
Anyways his body odor was so bad/strong I actually had a little dry heave fit. Now personally I can generally tell when I'm a bit stinky and try to go out of my way to fix this. I understand people get used to their own smells... but... give me a break. I'm seriously thinking about carrying a stick of deodorant with me in the gym and chucking it at him. Probably not the best way to go around letting him know.. whats your guys take on this? Have you had any similar issues in the gym? Lets hear em. Drayc-

You gotta say something just try and be civil...lol If someones that bad then you know when they get off a piece of equip. their leaving some stench on it. Thats bullshit and they need to be told to wash their ass and their gym clothes

I agree with amp and suppy...there is no reason for that shit. I mean u'r not gonna be smellin like roses and you should be sweatin but that dont mean you cant put on some deodorant.
Plain and simple....I shouldn't be able to smell you from across the room or know what equip you were on cause of u'r stench lol

bro, maybe aproach him in a civil way. if he gets shitty then the hell with him. some people are so stupid , that they don't know they stink.

Have a good story for you guys.....Ok here we go
My girlfriend manages the gym i workout at. She is the only person that works there, so she signs new members up, manages the gym, and also cleans, disinfects all the equipment etc. Everything to keep a gym up and running. A guy that is a regular at the gym takes a big shit in the bathroom and stops the toilet up. He goes and tells her that the toilet is clogged in the bathroom but failed to mention that his nasty ass was the one who clogged it. His dumb ass kept flushing the toilet which all it did was put shitty water all over the floor in the bathroom. She had to clean it all up and the guy had the nerve to tell her it was 100 percent her job to clean his shit up, and since she worked there if he took a shit on the floor she would have to clean it........ Well needless to say when i found out about it i pulled him to the side and had a few choice words with him. We are cool now and he apologized to her everytime he came in for 2 weeks straight. Not saying im some badass but damn thats just totally disrespectful. If you gona drop a big bomb go home or shit before you workout ya know..

Na bro its a very small gym. Yes we have a few stinky members in the gym also. I work 10 hours in the sun and smell like a rose compared to a few college guys that come in there after their day in school. They wear the same damn gym clothes everyday. I think they get home in evening from working out and put their same sweaty shit in the truck again for another round the next day at the gym. Once i got to know them i told them to wash their damn clothes. Literally like you guys said, you could smell them everywhere they went, even after they walked off for a few minutes.

Well with people like that i love to just ease over near them and just letter ripp a silent one of course then ease on back away and let them just enjoy the flower bed aroma. Minus the flowers of course. Then let them say something to me.
