Turns out this isn't the test at the shop near the gym. I gotta find this and do it for comparison. Scanning my test results now.

I'd rather not be exposed to radiation unless it's neccessary. I've beaten myself up enough in my life lol. Did that test you took today involve radiation at all?

No radiation, just air displacement.

I'll let you microwave yourself and then I can take the difference between that test and the Bod Pod and do some math to get a percentage and apply that to myself with out the radiation. Thanks Guineadough or cookiepig if you prefer lol.

Default bio impedence analysis

I just talked to a dr @ a health and wellness clinic. Thay do a bio impedence analysis test he says is extremely accurate. He claims it s the same machine that they use on the biggest loser and is accurate to w/i 2% based on hydration, recent food consumption etc. and it s only 25$. Also, it comes w/ a wellness consultation including diet etc..

Where the hell can I find a health and wellness clinic? Is it a chain company or just a local place? Did you ask if about the hydration and food thing in terms of what leads to a more accurate reading? I would think an empty stomach and not too much water would be more accurate right?

NO kiddin. I'm a F-A-T ass. So the goal now is to get down to 10% in 12 weeks. I have some homework to do to make sure I've got the diet and the training nailed. I'll post up on Sunday as planned w/the particulars.

NOt gonna lie, I expected 12% and 15% is a big slap of reality. I know that these displacement tests can be off a little, but I'll do the same test in 6 weeks and then again in 12 weeks. NOt happy w/the results.
Dinnt see this till it was too late but i would have said over 12 %,,,, honest.... and well done for your honesty. I reckon 90% of people take about 4% off what they really are becuase they dont want ridiculed or whatever.
Did you do the 7 point or the 5 Cookie

I remember when i did my diet and posted up photos at the end some folks though I was about 8% and shit, and I was at 10.5 % and manned up to it even to the last .5% LOL

Well done Cookie

REP
Thanks Rep, I did an air displacement test called "BodPod." I sat in a small chamber and they measured the volume my body displaced. I'll get another test done to compare results.

15%??? Abs look way too cut for 15 bro, more like 9%. Ok I'll buy 15 for the chest and arms. lets split the difference... say 12..

i still think that it all depends on where people carry fat and all. there are many different variables in this matter. Ive seen someone at 18" bf have arms that looked like a Bodybuilders arms, but have a gut and love handles.

LOL BT dont be scared of a little radiation, it cant be any worse than that NY pizza you eat ahahahahahaha...... Jk bro, i cant wait to try a slice, or 7 or 8 when i come up there.

You're not a real man unless you eat a whole pie and even then it's questionable if it has no toppings.

I have had caliper readings done but as most have indicated they are off. Well done CD another cool test, I learn so much from you guys, thanks
