Im just goin by the body fat scale @ my gym. Im tryin to find a bod pod to use locally to get an accurate % before shic. Then Ill use same method to get after %.

Are you talking about those scales that send an electrical pulse through your feet to measure density? I have one of thos and they're crap. It read a lower % for my flabby friend than it did for me. Mine just told me that I'm 25% BF. They also read differently depending on how hydrated you are.

Yep, thats the one. Last night I was 31%. I cant find a bod pod or hydrostatic weighing place near me. IYO, what would be the most accurate measurement besides these two?

The only thing I can think of is the calipers. They may be somewhat accurate to within a few percentages (which can be a lot) but not everybody carries fat in the same places the same way and the calipers measure on the chest, abs and quad. They're only a few bucks and many online supplement stores have em and maybe the local GNC or Vitamin Shoppe too.

Wishful thinking on my part. That machine looks expensive, so it might be higher. I assume they use the machine as bait to get people on a diet program, etc.

Yea probably. I'd have to drive about 50 miles to get to the nearest one. I'd probably do the least expensive one if I did it. Part of me would like to know the truth and part wants nothing to do with it lol.

I'd be 12% according to this which is what the calipers say too. Maybe it's not to far off. I think my fat ass adds an extra 1 or 2% though lol.
