PGF EXPERIENCES
As told to Papa Tom Of all the myriad of drugs, which promise a new physique, none are more exciting and frightening then PGF/lutalyse. Make no mistake, this is not a drug that was designed for human consumption; its original purpose is to induce labor in cattle. The side effects include a very sore injection site, shortness of breath, and severe abdominal pain/cramping. Sounds like fun, doesn't it? Why would anyone even think of it? Well, there's the following: localized hyperplasia (real muscle tissue growth) and an incredible thermogenic (fat burning) effect. There are many articles on the Net, which expand on the above. My purpose is to relate a person's individual results. My lab rat…uh, volunteer is a graduate school student with an already impressive physique who was able to keep a very detailed journal of his experience. Let's call him PhD. I took his results and came up with a few hypotheses on the use, misuse, and overall benefit to risk ratio. The following are in PhD's own words: Through some friends, I was able to locate three 30 ml bottles of Upjohn Lutalyse. Using a standard insulin syringe, I began use of PGF for the first time. Prior to my first injections, I measured both of my arms as 18.25 inches and measured my body fat (3 pinch caliper test) as 13.6%. I am following a clean but not restrictive diet (50% protein, 25% carbs, and 25% fat). I am using no other anabolic/ergogenic substances. Hearing about the side effects, I was nervous but determined. I injected ½ cc in the lateral head of each tricep and was sure to aspirate each shot. The following was recorded: 8:00 am: Initial injection is painless, but a mild ache begins rapidly. 8:02 am: Tremors and an increasing ache are noted at the injection sites. 8:05 am: Felt very flushed and chills are noted; unpleasant nausea but not unbearable. 8:10 am: Sweating profusely. Pain at injection sites does not feel like a "pump" as reported by others but is more like a severe cramp. Active elbow flexion and extension is very painful. 8:25 am: Diarrhea begins but is not unbearable. 8:35 am: Diarrhea worsens but is still tolerable. Mouth is very dry. 8:50 am: Symptoms are lessening. 9:00 am: All symptoms are gone except for continued ache/soreness at injection sites. I began to inject the PGF twice a day every day while rotating sites (long, medial, and lateral head of triceps). You may have guessed that triceps are a weak body part for me. I was surprised to see that the second injection had far fewer side effects than the first one. The cramping was still there, but the nausea and diarrhea were much more tolerable. I continued this regimen for one week; I then increased the injections to 3 a day for the next two weeks. It was at this point that I lost some strength on pressing exercises. I finally bumped it up to 4 a day for two weeks. The side effects were minimal until I began 4 a day injections. At this point, I was completely burned out from injecting myself so much, so I took a two-week break. At this point, I was 5 weeks out from my initial injections and reevaluated my stats. I now possessed 19-inch arms and measured my body fat at 8.4%. This comes out as a ¾ inch gain in both arms and a 5% decrease in body fat (roughly, 1% a week). Remember, this was without strict dieting and minimal cardio (walking on a treadmill for 30 minute three mornings a week). My triceps are slightly larger and more defined. It is not an abnormal synthol-like swelling. My strength returned to previous levels after the first week abstaining from PGF. After a two-week break, I began again with 2 a day injections and, sure enough, the symptoms are as bad as the first time I injected. I continued for five weeks at 3 times a day. At this point, I measured my arms at 19.2 inches and body fat at 5.8%. I am now done with this "experiment." I've given myself literally 100+ shots in the past 12 weeks. Let Papa T. interpret as he sees fit. Well, interesting results. After reading the following and by monitoring PhD through the 12 weeks, I made the following observations and theories: 1. By keeping injections under 3 a day, side effects are minimized. 2. The localized growth is very impressive (nearly an inch on each arm in 12 weeks!). 3. More impressive is the fat loss (nearly 8% decrease; this translates to a 200%+ decrease in body fat). 4. Three months later, PhD had retained most of his gains. He now had 19 inch arms and 7% body fat. 5. Although not the nightmare that is reported by others, PGF use is very unpleasant and painful. The reports of severe diarrhea, dry heaves, and unbearable pain in body parts come primarily from people who perform 5+ injections a day. 6. Did you notice that the symptoms decreased rapidly as PhD continued his use. He was able to perform the injections after one week with minimal abdominal discomfort. The pain/cramping never subsided, however. Also note that after a two-week break, the side effects were immediately as severe as with initial injections. What can we learn from PhD? Is PGF effective? Very much so! his results were very impressive. Was it painful? Oh, Hell yeah! I've observed PhD perform site injections that make most people sick, and he was utterly miserable after two weeks. Is PGF safe? Absolutely not! There are no studies on human use of PGF and not a single reason in the world why there will be one any time soon. Big and cut are not priority research issues at the university level. Is PGF for you? You'll have to be the judge of that. |
