Cool First of all....

I cannot even tell you guys how glad I am to have found you. I'm a new member here and I have FINALLY found a community that's clearly LOCKED IN, HARD CORE, and HONEST! The first thing that stood out to me about this site was not the unbelievably detailed, expansive information on gear, cycles, PCT, and what ever else, but the comradery and support that you guys show each other!!!! It's truly amazing and I'm looking forward to plugging in and learning all I can here with you guys (and gals).

About me:

Age 43
Weight 270
BF 30+

Weight lifted all through my teens starting at 15 and well into my 20's. Never done a cycle in my life! But unfortunately after college, work, marriage, family, then divorce, collapse of my business in 2007 I spent over a decade building (real estate), I'm over weight, week and apparently pre-diabetic!!! HOW THE FUCK DID THIS HAPPEN TO ME?!!! Never in a million years would I have thought I would end up here.

But one lesson I have learned at this point in my life is not to make any excuses, take responsibility for EVERYTHING in my life, make the next best decision, and get on with it!

Have a new business now, a new beautiful lady and now it's time for me to get my health, and strength back! I'm back in the gym now and I believe you guys can help me get on track! I've been reading page after page on these forums trying to learn allllllll I can but i have to be honest, it is a lot of information.

2 questions:
I welcome any guidance as to the best way for a 43yo beginner like myself to start my first cycle?
Also, upon ordering my gear through the sources here is there a reasonable expectation of how long till I receive them?

Thanks and sorry if this post was too long!

Welcome My suggestion would do a lot of reading and asking questions. Get a solid training and nutrition plan in place first before starting your 1st cycle. Juice isn't magic Bro its kinda like nitro on a will built engine it does wonders. You hook it up to a old piece of crap and your gonna blow the engine.

The answer to your 2nd question is take advantage of your VIP status and check out the source reviews both domestic and international. There are 2 domestic sources on here that are very quick. Again Welcome and best of luck you have come to the right place

Default Thanks Jeff07 and shotgun!!!

shotgun, sounds like sound advice that i have already started to follow. I'm not in a rush here as I want to do this right and get healthy and strong NOT jeopardize my health (helluv an analogy BTW...gave me quite a visual)

Forgot to state that I am 6' tall and pretty heavily muscled in spite of my BF most likely due to my early years of training (i say this just so you don't visualize a pudge ball over here, lol). However....

Q: In my proper training and diet program what's a reasonable time period to wait to start my first cycle?

Trying to get a realistic gauge here...2 mos, 6 mos, a year?

Thanks again

I would say 6-8 months of solid training make sure your eating correctly losing BF and then get ready to dance with the devil

research HGH too... you are at a good age to start that and you could start it now...

EDIT.... OOO whoops, pre-diabetic hmm don't know if hgh is a good idea then. Any of the vets know???

I think it depends on what pre diabetic means...what are ur fasting sugars...90's to 100's are ok over ur looking at boarderline ...I am asuming ur not on metformin or other oral meds...and have not been Dx with type (I II ).Losing Fat esp around mid section should decrease risk of further blood sugar probs and wil take u from pre to non existing diabetes issues.Check FBS's as u lose...as u lose fat u should decrease D issues...just my .05 Cents w.

Welcome. I say you can start a cycle when your natural gains start to taper off.
As long as you can gain muscle or lose fat naturally, why bother with AAS.
So get a good nutrition plan and be consistent with training then go from there.

Again, this sounds like excellent advice and I'm following it to the 'T'. I'm developing my program, using the forums on here to do it. The workouts on here i'm seeing are quite different than what I have done in the past e.g. doing one body part each day for example but I'm doing it. I also some really interesting and enlightening material on here about diet, protein, cholesterol, and meal plans, etc, etc. Pretty amazing and enlightening stuff!!! I'm learning a lot here.

I will keep you guys posted on my progress and thanks for the welcome and the support!!!!!

I'm going to start my next Q&A/comments in the 'Over 40' section!
