Default couple of sterilization questions

Ok guys first time brewer here. Ive got everything finally after months of research. I got 3 questions.

The vial (the cooking vial, not the final sealed sterile vial) im going to brew on the oven came in the mail not sealed or anything. How should I clean it before hand? Im also going to have to use a funnel I purchased with it, how should i clean that as well? Or does this even matter because the BA and filter?

Also does my grape seed oil need to be USP grade? Im going to be running it through a filter and of course have the BA.

I do not have anything to stir the solution with while its cooking. Can I just swirl the vial?

thanks

Pretty much the same process I use. Except, I don't use a thermometer. I just swirl gently.

1. Wash whatever you are going to use
2. Swab out with alcohol and wipe down area with alcohol (allow to air dry)

Have fun.

What equipment have you got exactly and what are you using a funnel for?

Are you using filter units with a pump or syringe filters?

Ive got 100 ml unsealed and sealed vials. 4 20 ml sealed vials and an electric stove.

Syringe filters and funnel just to get the powder into the vial.

Bump Mr-don't start brewing anything until you're sure you know what you're doing.

Unsealed vials are going to help f@ckall unless you have a pressure cooker to sterilize and a crimping kit to seal the vials-thats advanced brewing-get the basics right first.

Don't do anything until you're sure of what you're doing-you don't want to end up with a deep muscle abcess.

I use an unsealed vial to mix things in. I also use a funnel. It's easier to use a beaker because some hormones clump up and it's a pain trying to break it up to get into the vial. But, I use what I have. Just make sure to filter into a sealed vial.

Hey shadowman or anyone else with the clumpy problem. Do you think lightly thumping the hormone with the back of table spoon while its in a vacum sealed bag could make it a little less clumpy to get it into the funnel hole and into the mixing vial?

Get pinz is out of 250 ml beakers and every where elses shipping charges are insane.

You need to weigh it out to the amount you're going to brew-once it is in the solution of BA and BB and oil and heated it will fall into suspension whether its clumpy at the beginning or not
