crimping question

Kinda stupid question but just wanted to make sure: when crimping your own vials, all you need is a crimper, vial, and aluminum seal correct? Is there any way to vacum seal the vial? If not ho long will the gear be good for? I was thinking about starting to crimp my own ive always just used presealed vials but its a real pain in the ass

need rubber stopper too bro.
i always flush my vials and stoppers with rubbing alcohol then bake them til dry. add gear, add stopper, put on aluminum seal, use crimper. IMO its some hard to get seal to be stay flat while crimping. after it looks like a 2 year old did it sometimes, lol, but whatever, its still sealed and GTG.

YOU WILL ALSO OF COURSE NEED THE PLASTIC/RUBBER STOPPER PLUG THAT SEALS THE LIQUID. THE ALUMINUM TOP THAT YOU "CRIMP" ONLY FUNCTIONS TO HOLD THE PLASTIC PLUG IN.

SO YOU NEED A CRIMPER THAT CAN BE USED ON THE CERTAIN "SIZE" VILES YOU HAVE. bY SIZE I MEAN THE NECK/OPENING SIZE OF THE VILE, NOT HOW MANY ML IT HOLDS. THE MOST COMMON SIZE USED FOR OUR PURPOSES IS THE 20 ML. SO GET A 20 ML CRIMPER

THE CRIMPER WILL HAVE AN ADJUSTING SCREW UNDER NEATH..LOOK FOR IT.
OH, BTW, IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE CRIMPING DOZENS OR MORE ALL THE TIME? i SUGGEST GETTING A CRIMPER THAT STANDS ALONE WHERE YOU SIMPLY PLACE THE VILE "UNDER IT" AS YOU WOULD AN ITEM UNDER A DRILL PRESS..RATHER THAT THE LESS EXPENSIVE HAND HELP TYPE (BUT NOTH WRONG WITH HAND HELD) JUST NOT AS EASY.

Guys I posted several years ago about crimping vials using a wood clamp insted of spending $$$$ for crimper. It's cheap and does the same job as expensive crimper great if your just doing a couple of vials but if your doing volume get crimper.
