Program Idea

I studied programming a few years back, and wanted to brush up before I forget most of it, and thought what better way that to write one for this forum.

My idea is to revamp the powder calculator that you guys use, it will perfom the same functions as the one in use, but I am thinking off adding a menu drop down box with a list of recipies, when clicked on it will load the the values into the text boxes, what do you guys think? I could also add other text boxes to represent other chemicals, such as EO or gualcol?

Worth doing or just stick to the old calculator?

It would take me a few days, I am a little rusty on the syntax but I should be able to do it.

I need you guys to post your proven recipies here for me, then i'll add them.
