My girlfriend wants to get on a cycle of T3/Clen.
What mcg's is safe for women? I was thinking 80mcg of Clen and wasn't sure for the T3. I was going to run it for 6 weeks. Please help? Thanks! |

First off Clen should be run two weeks on two off. After two weeks it basically stops working. 80 to 100mcg is fine for a female ramp it up though no need to ramp down. T3 is well lets just say a little more difficult. You really should be on some sort of AAS while taking T3. T3 is pretty powerful you have a good chance of it chewing on your hard earned muscle and we don't want that. T3 can be run for 4 to 6 weeks run in a pyramid say 4 weeks 25 25 25 25 25 50 50 50 50 50 75 75 75 75 75 100 100 100 100 100 75 75 75 75 75 50 50 50 50 50 25 25 25 25 25mcg per day something to that effect. In bodybuilding circles Cytomel is mostly used as fat-loss drug. Thyroid hormones are often referred to as the metabolic regulators of the body. High levels of T3 speed up the metabolism of an individual, allowing him to burn more calories and use calories more sufficiently. Generally ectomorphic body-types have very high thyroid levels and in some cases a slight undiagnosed form of hyperthyroidism. Both hyper-and hypothyroidism can have severe consequences on an individual, such as goiters and other nasty stuff, so messing with your thyroid is not something I would advise to beginners. As with insulin, misuse of this compound can leave you dependent on exogenous T3 for the rest of your life (remember Frank Zane?). So some caution and research is required before putting Cytomel in your body. Generally cycles should be limited to 4-6 weeks tops, I recommend 3 and alternating cycles with 3-week cycles of clenbuterol. But most importantly, to avoid a crash or a shock to the thyroid function doses need to be built up over time and tapered off again. More so for cytomel than for any other drug in existence. Agreed, cytomel is NOT a drug for beginners, but with adequate research, experience with diet and some self-control, I don't see why cytomel shouldn't be the first thyroid compound used. But for recreational users looking for a fatburner, I still suggest using clenbuterol over cytomel for all intents and purposes. Cytomel is much more powerful, but clenbuterol is a lot safer for use. The results are easier to maintain with clenbuterol as well. Negative feedback in the thyroid may decrease natural levels of T3 in the body, causing a decrease of metabolic rate after coming off a cycle of T3. That can cause a rebound effect during which a lot of weight is gained back. Some of this info I found on another site a thought it should be mentioned. Hope this helps Bro.

Does anyone know if it's better to do both at the same time and then some time off, like clen + t3 for 2 weeks and then 2 weeks off, or alternate them like 2 weeks t3, 2 weeks clen?
I've read that clen and t3 have a 1+1=3 affect but with the second option I could have continuous weight loss? Is the 1+1 = 3 true for clen + t3? Any help would be really appreciated! |

You will also want to add taurine and potassium as supplements (available at GNC) to reduce any possible side effects from clen. Be sure to drink plenty of water as well. The real key is diet and cardio though... Last edited by gear99; 05-21-2007 at 10:12 PM. |

Both of them combined are an excellent fat burning combo...You must do some more resarch on it though! You need to read up more on it to learn what you should and shouldn't do while on it...Clen/T3 could come with shakes, headaches, cramps, accelerated heart beat, etc... The most important thing with T3 is ramping down near the end of your cycle so that your thyroid kicks back into natural production on it's own...Also, you'll need to get some thyroid support pills, they help a great deal... I'm just coming off an 8 week T3/Clen cycle and almost done with the T3, having ramped down to one pill a day and can say that my thyroid is beginning to kick back into production...I've done several in the past with great success... Of course as Gear99 said, diet is very, very key...Exercise comes a close second, but diet is crucial... Last edited by Action; 05-22-2007 at 07:45 AM. |

I really appreciate the replies! Im a vegan and am eating very healthy and do as much cardio as I have time for (usually 30 min 3x a week). I've lost most of the weight but the last bit just wont come off no matter what I do which is why I'm doing this. I've never read about potassium and tourine, I will definatly get some. I want to keep as healthy as possible while on this.
if it temporarily shuts down your thyriod, how does it work? Wouldnt it just replace your regular hormones? Should I take more since I already have a super slow metabolism? what are thyriod support pills? Can I get them at GNC? Side effects? Thanks so much! |

Yes, it takes the place of your thyroid...
Everything looks fine with the Clen, although tapering down at the end of your 14 days of Clen is not crucial and unnecessary as you're giving your body 14 days off after the Clen cycle for your Beta receptors to go back to normal...I would further ramp down the T3 at the end...You have yourself going down to 20 mcg's at the end... Go down to 10 for 4 days, and even 5 for 4 days...Ramping down is the most crucial part of T3 cycling... Thyroid support can be bought at GNC... |

I have a question. My wife has Hoshimoto's disease, which is an autoimmune disease of the Thyroid. She has to take T4(levithyroxine) for the rest of her life. Last year she took T3 in conjunction with T4 and felt 100 times better. We are fixing to start her back on T3. My question is since her thyroid is already destroyed due to her disease should she still be on it a while then get off of it or continue it with her T4?

You would Cycle the T3 and continue with the t4 as a maintence dose because her thyroid is already shut down.
