Default My wife's blood test - need advice!

My wife is 42, 136lbs, works out hard 6 days a week and can't lose body fat no matter what she does. She even did the HCG diet for 30 days and lost only 10lbs (went from 146lbs to 136lbs). She is a perfectionist and did the diet flawlessly. She's trying to get back down into her 120's and cut but it seems impossible for her. Her blood test (Genova Diagnostics):

Progesterone: 0.64 (scale 0.30-0.64 ng/mL)

Sex Hormone Binding Globulin: 114 (scale 18-114nmol/L)

Estrone Sulfate (E1S): 3.61 (scale 0.23-1.40 ng/mL)
Estrone (E1): 127 (scale 12-41 pg/mL)
Estradiol (E2): 91 (scale 20-90 pg/mL)
Estriol (E3): <80 (scale <= 80 pg/mL)

DHEA-S: 109 (scale 30-202 mcg/dL)
Testosterone: 0.29 (scale 0.04-0.62 ng/mL)
Free Androgen Index: 0.88 (scale 0.32-6.73)

2-Hydroxyestrone: 734 (scale 112-656 pg/mL)
16-Hydroxyestrone: 541 (scale 213-680 pg/mL)
2:16 Hydroxy-Estrone Ratio: 1.36 (0.40-1.40)

I thought her estrogen was really high. Could she just take Arimidex (0.25 ED)? Would that help her? or is there a better suggestion?

Thanks

You could put her on a cycle. It would lower her estrogen and raise test levels.

Did your wife use the injectable HCG for he diet or the premixed orals. Be-ware of the pre mixed stuff. Stick with HCG powder for best HCG diet results.

Well, she went to her OBGYN and they said her levels were "within range". So she then went to an Anti-aging doc and he was a dumb ass. He told her to take a supplement (Curcumin) and to do a liver detox .

So I guess the next step is a endocrinologist (sigh) or either self-medicate since doctors are idiots in this arena.

She used the injectable (novarell) 10,000 IU vial. She shot 125 IUs - 150 IUs a day and did the 500 cal a day diet...

I'm not sure what cycle to put her on. Also, can't a woman do one shot of test and it change her system? Like rebalance it or something like that?

women don't need much to get results. I'm sure her HGH is low along with Test and Estrogen.

was it 500 calories of protein while on the HCG diet?

The HCG diet isn't for those without large amounts of abnormal fat. Perhaps your wife wasn't that large in the first place.

Under Radar has some great female cycles in the Archived Section. Clen/T3 or Var or Winny cycles are fine for females.

Let's forget about your wife's bloodwork for a minute. You say your wife only lost 10 lbs. in 30 days. That's a whole lot of weight for an average size woman to loose in a month as that's 2.5 lbs/week. You also say she works out hard -- is that weight lifting or cardio? Also, visually when you look at her does she look thinner, bulkier? Before you start shooting her up I think you should wait a couple of months and see what changes she can make with consistent good training and nutrition (and I don't think HCG is the right plan for her).

She is a Les Mills trainer and does both weights and cardio 5-6 days a week. She used to easily trim down in the past but now that her age has crept up, it has been impossible for her to drop body fat. She tried literally everything. She was in keto (dark purple sticks) for a few months and didn't lose anything. The HCG diet worked instantly and she didn't lose any strength or have any energy issues from the low calories. She actually lost over 10lbs of fat in that 30 day period. You can start to see the outline of her six pack but she carries her weight more in her thighs and butt. Our concern is her estrogen levels being above the scale, isn't that dangerous territory? Doesn't that lead to breast cancer? Isn't it impossible to lose body fat with estrogen that high? I guess we are wanting an "educated eye" to look at those blood results and see if they notice anything out of whack. Her sex drive has gone down so she feels like her testosterone might need a boost and was interested in testosterone cream. She also was hoping testosterone might expedite her efforts in the gym.

Domeno go with a cycle and if she has tried all that stuff back to back, thats not good for her system, as a personal trainer I never recommend a diet of any kind to my clients because A) they dont work long term B) they deprive the body what it needs due to the lack of nutrients and starvation C) your body ends stuck in a fasting state which burns muscle because there are enough nutients to support the excess stress on the body.

Also sounds like your wife has been into fitness for quite awhile, so she should know there is no such thing as a "magic potion", that it takes patience, stress will actually cause the body to bloat which is just the oppsite of what your trying to attain, so pick a goal, a cycle, stay away from diets, and give your body what it needs and then you'll start seeing results..good luck !

What cycle should she run? I looked through the archives and couldn't find any women cycles... Am I blind?

Also, how much does the Testosterone gel that women take cost? Is it pricey? And how long does a tube of it last if she's taking 2.5mg/day?

Test does amazing things to the human body, however i would never give it to my girl due to the side effects it can cause women (facial hair, enlarged clit, deepening of voice etc) not worth it in my opinion...... I would recommend following actions advice and sticking with the var/winny or you could even go with an eca stack
