Default Testosterone Table for Women?

I found this on WebMD... is this accurate? If a 40+ year old female gets her testosterone to 70 then will she be "safe" from bad sides such as facial hair, etc.. yet still gain the benifits? Is that the goal of HRT for women? Will it be similar to men getting their testosterone back up to 900-1000 where they feel like they are in their early 20's again?

Or is it more complex than this?

Total testosterone for females
1 month to puberty - Less than 10 ng/dL (less than 0.35 nmol/L)
7-9 years - 1-12 ng/dL (0.04-0.42 nmol/L)
10-13 years - 2-53 ng/dL (0.07-1.84 nmol/L)
14-17 years - 8-53 ng/dL (0.28-1.84 nmol/L)
Premenopausal - 10-70 ng/dL (0.35-2.43 nmol/L)
Postmenopausal - 7-40 ng/dL (0.24-1.39 nmol/L)

They also replenish their estrogens on womens TRT. The test is for libido and whatever else test does for women.

Women use HRT for different reasons and have different reactions to the drugs. Although in my late 50s I never had any female age related problems I just wanted the test to help me get the body I wanted. My level went too high to 200 and the only side effect I had was that my hair was dry and dull. Once my level was properly adjusted my hair went right back. I didn't grow a beard or a penis (even though that might be fun) With the growth it helped me to round out my muscles and get lean and cut. I love it!

SS I was this way before the test but if you say this is the effect it has on most women I'm gonna encourage all my gfs to go for it!

Hey BB. Always Been curious what levels worked best for you ladies. So your saying 200ng/dl was too much total test..? Is that right? What # did you find worked best for you? Also how did you dose it and w/? ester. Vitamin E 800 min iu/day helps for the dryzies for me...or at least I think it does. I'm almost 50. I like results from maintaining 800-1000ng/dl bloodwise but need small dose anabolic, prefer primo to keep bloat down and reduce SHBG. Anti-e. and Hcg as needed. The rest is all diet/train/rest.

What about other hormones for women? I thought for women it wasn't as easy as just taking testosterone? I also read this post on isteroids which worries me on what my wife should do:

Be very careful giving a woman testosterone. 125mg 2x a month is enough to viralize a woman. A lot of pre/post surgery transexuals take 50mg a week of test to turn them from women to very masculine looking men. Full on facial hair and lowered voice, etc.

I work with a doctor and I use a compound topical cream and take others orally. As to how much, it would be unethical of me to give a generic answer. Any person (whether male or female) needs to have bloodwork done to ascertain their current hormone levels before starting any program. Additionally, if a woman is having "female" issues she needs to discuss those with her physician. Before I began a program I had my blood work done and my blood is continually tested. My test level did spike to 200 but last month's bloodwork showed my test level to be 125 and I have no sides and am feeling and looking great. I am having my bloodwork done again next week and expect my test level to come in around 100. As I mentioned in my original post, I had no "female symptoms" that made HRT necessary -- I was interested solely as a weight lifter to increase mass and lean out, both which were accomplished with the hormones and a daily injection of 4 IUs of HGH. I strongly recommend that if you think a female in your life would benefit from HRT she should consult either an anti aging specialist or a good internist and definitely not a gynecologist as they remain in the dark ages. If not done right, the side effects could be devastating.

First, I want to thank you Freak for all your kind words and as we've discussed I am happy to help your wife with any questions she might have. And to you Chal, I have read many of Chickpwrlifter's posts and I agree with you, they were great and she was extremely knowledgeable and able to explain things clearly. I wish there were more females here. It's a little overwhelming to be with so many "big bros" on this site but I there's so much good info that I really enjoy being a member. And although my approach to growth and test is way way different (one would hope so!) I do bring 30 years of weight lifting experience and I enjoy the conversations. Great people, great site. Need some more ladies!
