Protein Review - BSN Syntha 6

So I got a really good deal on a couple tubs of BSN Syntha 6 Protein (Chocolate) and wanted to give my thoughts on it. It is a mix of isolate, concentrate, casein - both milk and soy. Normally I use Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Whey or Natures Best Zero Carb Isopure.

The good: It tastes like a fucking chocolate milkshake! I enjoyed drinking it, which is a big plus.

Then bad: One scoop has 200 calories, 22g protein and 14g carbs. And its a 44g scoop!!! In comparison the ON protein (32g scoop) 130 calories, 24g protein and 4g carbs.

So 2 scoops you are looking at 88g of powder, 400 calories, 44g protein, 28g carbs. I will use it at most once a day until I run out or mix with ON, but I think I will pass on any future purchases.

Anyone else tried and liked/disliked?

I haven't tried, but it sounds like an ideal shake for the bulking guys...

This stuff is probably the best tasting stuff out there. It's kind of like a MRP mix rather than a typical protein powder though. It has quality ingredients for sure.

I think this stuff is comparable to Gaspari Myfusion, which also tasted amazing. You could tell when you open the lid, it wasn't your typical tasting protein. But as above, it has like 10g of carbs... maybe per two scoops can't remember.

5ve used it and its good, but its carbs are to high. Im a ON man......

I use the vanilla ice cream it tastes great but the carbs are high.

I love the taste of Syntha 6. Due to the high calories, I often mix it with other protein powders. Each scoop does have 5 grams of fiber included in the carbs, so it's not too bad. I like mixing 1.5 scoops of chocolate peanut butter Syntha 6 with 1 scoop of ON 100% Casein chocolate peanut butter for a MRP.

I got two for $33.97 with free shipping on Amazon. One time deal and it went fast. Crazy price so I had to do it

This is by far the best tasting protein I have ever tried...and you can stir it with a spoon which is a plus when you cant find a shaker top...I'm a customer for life or at least until I find out that they lied on the nutrition label and its really just really expensive Nestle Quick

i thinks its a time released am to pm protein shake andits really good for taking before you go to bed since you wont be eating for 8+ hours. I know theres a video of ronnie coleman on youtube and he take 3 scoops of that stuff everynite before bed...or so he says
