Default SAVE your hair...here's how

These are great for those that are thinning and using steroids that dht. here is another from a good bro.

I make my own Spironolactone cream to help prevent hair loss.
It has worked well for me and others.

I got the recipe from a hair loss guru.

Ask your doctor for the spiro...tell him that you plan to make an anti-androgen cream that is PROVEN to be effective.

600mg of crushed spiro tabs. I grind them up in an electric coffee grinder.
20cc of melted dermovan cream(get it off the net) Melt it in the microwave and suck it up with a syringe.

Mix the spiro and dermovan together well in a small container. This makes a 3% spiro cream.

Apply small amounts in the am and pm to the receeding hair line areas. Wet the tips of your figers with water and then dip into the cream.

The cream doesn't smell and can't be seen. It makes a good "moose" to hold the hair. It does not give a gel look...it gives a dry look.

NEWBIE...if you don't have the genetics for hair loos then roids will not cause you a problem...look at your mother and fathers head of hair.

ALSO....use Nizoral 2% shampoo daily....it eats down deep to dig out androgens.

If you don't want to make your own spiro cream then you can get it from Dr. Lee at www.minoxidil.com but it will cost you a lot of $$

Nice post-been thinking about making topical spiro for a while-would've done if those bastards at EShopRX came through with my order-don't order from there.

I was thinking of making it in a an alcohol based solution as alcohol is known for most effective absorption.

Yes you can find physician's who will custom blend of minoxidil at 10-15% (custom compounding pharmacies have it already). This works with spironolactone and nizoral

Bump U.R. for this one. I know a little something about the largest organ of the body. Skin. And what is planted in it...hair. I'd just like to add my .02 worth to this excellent post. "The most common cause of hair loss is usually an over productive oil gland which clogs the hair follicle and eventually suffocates the hair growth resulting in hair loss." Now read that again. Not the only but the most common. Now I would venture to say that most of us are using some very oily compounds. I know for a fact that my hair is much more oily on cycle. So, be sure to tend your soil (the scalp) by using a good clarifying shampoo when on cycle and then fight fire (the oil) with some fire (conditioner for oily hair) and then add your fertilizer (minoxidil) for best results. You see as we all know the body responds to how you treat it. If you dry your scalp out and don't condition it afterwards the body will produce more oil to combat that dryness. Smothering the hair follicle all over again.

Usually look at your mother's father, most passed by your mom to your y chromosome (not all, but most genetic balding is from that route).

Mom is very ill and in hospice, so spending what free time I have with her. I try to get by from time to time. Also putting together the annual charity haunt for the kids (animatronics, pneumatic props, light and music show)....a ton of work, but cannot let the little guys down.

Sorry to hear for your mother being ill; and I really hope and pray for a rapid recovery. Thats also really a great thing you are doing for the little ones; They will be thankful and you will be surely blessed.
