Default Elbow Injury on Cycle

Hey guys,
I am 10 weeks into a Sustanon / EQ cycle and am now injured due to an arm wrestling match on New Years Eve. I am going crazy because I cant go into the gym and lift heavy upper body, have been hitting legs hard ever since the injury. My question is; Should I stay on cycle until I heal? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Stay on and break your legs up to two or three workout. Hit your calve, hamstrings, and quads. maybe you do your abs too. I wouldn't stop.

Right on chisel, thanks for the advice, I will go into the gym tonight to hit legs and abs. I've got like another 4 weeks of gear left, hopefully the elbow will heal up by then.

It depends on the nature of the injury. My elbow pain is a result of lifting too heavy, and not just a strain, but repeatedly curling too much weight. Something like that doesn't fix easily, it takes time. If you keep lifting it will never heal.

On the other hand, if you just sprained it by bending it the wrong way or twisting it well that's a different story. You should be able to take it easy for a couple of weeks and it will heal. Just remember that you use those muscles for pull-ups and rows so taking it easy means backing off on those lifts too.

Personally I would cut the cycle short and let myself heal while on PCT, you'll be able to start the next one that much earlier and get good gains instead of the mediocre ones you'll get if you keep going. But hey that's just me.

Really, you're already 10 weeks in so gains are already tapering off.....

Thank you everyone for the suggestions, It's really helpful to hear from experienced bros! This is only my second cycle, it has been great so far until this injury, I will focus on legs for the time being.

I had to go in to Doc, did an ultrasound and verdict was partial tear in bicep tendon. Taking next week off work cause there is no light duty at the lumber mill I work at. I'm hoping my gear will help heal me faster than normal, until then it's legs, cardio, & abs.

Hate to say this but a tear doesnt heal. The internal swelling will go down and pain might subside somewhat but unfortunately the tendon cant reattach itself. Be careful you dont get a full tendon tear cause that sucks!

I believe the only thing that might heal a tendon is HGH or IGF. I believe thats why all the baseball players are using HGH.

Having been through a partial bicep tendon tear I tried HGH and it worked pretty well as far making me feel better and stronger in that area. But just like the ortho told me it would eventually rupture and it did so from everything that I know there is no way for a tendon to untear. Scar tissue will help hold it but it never fuses back to the bone was my point.

I wasn't countering you. I was just making a statement the baseball players use it to heal and I should of added after surgery.

I read this a little while back and thought of it when you posted this.

Hope this helps. This will also help with tendonitis in the elbow.

I like livestrong and I go to that site alot. However this article contradicts what I have been told or maybe its just for a lesser injury. My Ortho and my physical therapist told me to stay away from heat at all costs. Ice is great though. You really want to bring that swelling down. Once your off cycle consider 800mg ibuprofen it will help with the swelling alot!

Yes a pretty good site I think! And I do believe this is for a lesser injury. Still good info. And ibuprofen!

I appreciate all of the info you guys are sharing with me, this injury has really affected my mental state, going a bit mad, it helps to get this kind of feedback. I'll check that link when I get to my pc, Id like to run some hgh someday, all the things Ive read about suggest running it for 6 months, that's out of my budget for the moment. Time to start saving up. Thanks again for the posts.

Bicep seems to be slowly healing but elbow still feels screwed up, last pin was a week ago. Couple more weeks until pct. My Legs are the strongest they have ever been. Able to do some presses with no pain, still taking a break from pulling.

Got my gear for next cycle, prob start in June. Goal is to cut, got 35 ml test e 250 mg/ml and 25 ml (oil base) winstrol 100 mg/ml. Considering picking up some EQ to run with it. I'm gonna start a new thread for next cycle though
